What a story a pair of boots could tell.
The tunebook of my new music, commissioned by St Margaret’s Braemar and inspired by the story of mountain rescue in the Cairngorms.
With grateful thanks to Isabel Davies and Miles Newman for sponsoring the publication of the tunebook.
The music was premiered at the opening of the Braemar Mountain Festival in February 2019, performed by fourteen local, non-professional musicians who I had the pleasure to work with over a series of workshops.

Squall – CD album
The Debut Album, recorded live in the Ceilidh Place Ullapool.
I decided to record the band and myself in front of a captive audience in the gorgeous surroundings of Ullapool, in the north west Highlands of Bonny Scotland. We transformed the games room of The Ceilidh Place into what turned out to be a very intimate atmosphere with the band in the center of the room and studio audience on either side.
